On December 5th, the 2024 Shantou International Wind Power Technology Innovation Conference, themed "Exploring New Models for Wind Power Development and Expanding New Spaces for International Cooperation," was grandly held at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center. Leaders from national and provincial departments, diplomatic envoys and international organizations’ representatives from countries and regions such as the Netherlands, Spain, and Argentina, as well as academicians, experts, and senior executives from the wind power industry gathered in Shantou, totaling nearly one thousand people.

Vice Presidents Jiadong Chen and Shengxu Zhang, Secretary General Shaofen Yu, and the representative of the vice president unit, Weifa Zhang from Maoxing E-commerce, were invited to participate in the guest exchange meeting. They took this opportunity to promote Shantou textile industry to the attending guests, aiming to connect industrial enterprises with government cooperation resources in African, Asian, and Latin American countries for overseas market development. At the same time, they further enhanced the exposure and recognition of Shantou's advantageous textile and apparel products, such as Underwear, homewear, and elastic fabrics, in the international market.

They introduced that the textile and garment industry chain in Shantou is complete, with obvious advantages in technology, cost, and operation, achieving the most complete industrial chain globally from a drop of crude oil, a yarn, to a piece of clothing within 50 kilometers. In the face of the current complex global economic environment, the Shantou textile and garment industry insist to a combination of “bringing in” and “going out”. They look forward to joining hands with countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to jointly expand the market, leverage each other's resource advantages, co-build the trade transshipment bases, underwear production and processing industrial parks, e-commerce operation centers, cloud warehouses, etc., and sincerely invite guests from all countries to visit Shantou in March next year for the 4th Chaoshan Textile and Garment Expo.

This promotion received warm applause and feedback from the guests on site. After the meeting, representatives of the association also engaged in positive exchanges with the guests, discussing new opportunities for collaborative development in the global textile and apparel market.
